Meet Your Dentist

Cosmetic Dentist Mark O. Finney, DDS

I am a 1983 graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. I was born in Minnesota but my family moved many times due to my father's work with Northwestern Bell. I decided to become a dentist so I could help others have a healthy life and a beautiful smile. I have written and lectured at local and national meetings on the relationship between diabetes and dental care. I am a member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, 21st Century Study Club,the Minneapolis District Dental Society, and the American Diabetes Association. 
 

I am married to Lois and we have 4 children, James, Zach, Leah and David and 3 grandchildren, Micah, Sammy, and Ella.

 
My family and I enjoy helping others.  Our family has been involved in building a children's camp in Costa Rica. We worked at an orphange in Puebla, Mexico and I provided dental health to the staff and children there.  We helped provide oral cancer screenings at the Oral Cancer Awareness walk in October 2011 and provided a meal to the police working on Christmas Eve, 2011.  We have been receiving foodshelf donations at the office for the local foodshelf, Ralph Reeder.  Our office matches those donations, which really helps our neighbors in need.  
 
 
I enjoy spending time with family and also traveling to unique areas, fishing, biking, hiking, going to the Boundary Waters, taking long walks and “tinkering" on wood- working projects.
