»Avoid eating until the numbness is gone, usually within 2-4 hours. This will prevent accidentally biting your lip, tongue, or cheek.

»There may be sensitivity to heat, cold and pressure in the first week -this is normal.

»Your gums may be sore after the anesthetic wears off. Rinsing with warm salt water helps reduce discomfort. (1/2 tsp salt in 1 cup warm water).

»We will call you the next business day to be sure all is well. However, call us immediately if you have questions or concerns.

There are no restrictions for your crowned tooth.  Feel free to treat it as you would any normal tooth.
 
We put YOU first, so in the rare instance that your crown fails within the first five years of placement, we will replace the crown at no charge to you. Your crown was placed on _________________ (we have recorded this in your patient record). This agreement is only valid if you have regular recommended cleanings and checkups at our office.
